Jun 8, 2013 · Why I chose a Glock 30SF. I had a G26 Gen 4 that I carried CCW for a while. It was fine and very usable but I really prefer the Gen 3 grip to the Gen 4 texture and the large magazine release really dug into me with IWB carry. I also felt the gun was loose in my hand with the flying pinkie finger and that I never had the real firm grip that I like. The Glock 30SF is sort of a bridge between two variants of Glocks.
