Tire Height (Stock): 37″. Speed: 70 MPH. RPMS: 3185. The difference between 4.56 and 4.88 is about 227 RPM at 70 MPH with the 34″ tires. Your best bet would be to use a ratio calculator on any website to see what your RPM’s will be at a given speed. menards open easter sunday I have a 22 JLUR with 4.88's on order, planning on going to 35's, but it's cheaper to get factory gears vs doing it down the road. I came from the mid 80's Toyota pickup world and those came with 4.10's with 28's and when upgrading to 33's 4.88's was the gear, and that was with a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder that also liked to rev. Regards, JimThe 4.88s would be a good match for 35s, we run 37s with our 5.13s, 6 speed and it is perfect. We're around 2450 at 70. Averaging 16-17 mpg per tank. The standard transmission jeeps are a different animal than autos when it comes to gears. The 8 speed can compensate much better since it has two more gears Brett call of duty black ops 2 all mapsreturn to player 149faps fayetteville nc Combos for 4.88s we've seen are: '92-'95 4Runner, IFS, V6, 31" tires, auto transmission, tow package. '92-'95 pickup, IFS, V6, 31" tires, auto transmission, tow package. The vehicle will also usually have: door tag code of G144. white pinion paint code - the end of the pinion (driveshaft removed) will have paint on it.Id use 4.88`s with a 302 because they dont start making torque till the 300`s done . So now if you use these taller gears you need a lower first gear to get you moving, the ZF has a wider ratio. 1st is realy low, 2nd is close to your 1st , by 5th gear they are the same.
