Hello all, figured it's about time to start a thread on this upcoming Erie MMS starting on August 1st 2022.LECOM is the largest medical school in the country with two other campuses in Erie and Greensburg, PA. Total medical school class size will grow from 504 to 536 with the increase, leading to a total enrollment of more than 2100 medical students within a few years. LECOM-Erie is a good school. Most medical schools have a dress code policy (business casual, no scrubs outside the labs, etc.). Most med schools with smart classrooms set up for laptops ask you to keep food and beverages outside.It really depends on where you're trying to get rotations at and when you apply for them. Some places give priority to students of affiliated schools, but the same is true for LECOM affiliates. Its hard to get rotations at competitive places because they're competitive, but that's true at any school.
