Apparently the process to change the fluid requires a scan tool and some patience. Personal observation - change it earlier if you notice transmission get noisier.To do a complete swap/refresh would take like 11 quarts (I believe) and you get about 3.7 out each time, so I just do a swap with every oil change so what every 16-18k it's getting completely refreshed.
