Been difficult to find time but we'll get there.Here’s a quick exterior tour of my 1985 Dodge W-350.This is an almost complete 1st Gen Cummins crew cab. The engine is a '93 with 180,000 miles on it. Transmission is an Eaton Fuller RT6610 10 speed with the overdrive kit in it. Transfercase is a Rockwell T-223-C-11 with a 2.05 ratio out of a 2 ton truck. The axles are Dana 60 and 70 out of a '90 Cummins with 3.55 gears.People with 4th gen crew cab seats!! READ ME!! So during my install I ran into some issues with the center cup holders and the insulation behind the OE 3rd gen rear seats.. The metal bracket that holds the cup holders in the seat just barely clears the cab, much less the 1.5in of insulation.Quick little edit of my '93 12 valve Cummins with a few mods. Turn that sound up!The AEV flatbed is what got me to buy my 4th gen. Absolutely love that rig. Regular cab doesn’t work for me right now, and a flatbed crew cab wouldn’t satisfy my looks category.My other option is lifting off the 93' club cab and stretching the frame and welding on the crew cab perches to make the cab work on the 93' frame. Option #2 seems a lot more straight forward and a lot less swapping. I really don't want to touch the engine, transmission, axles, etc to do the swap.
