Though also note that many owners say that after sending in their PT709 back to Taurus the gun has become very reliable. Most I've seen have shown outer wear, but seemed to lock up great and looked they hadn't been shot all that much.I had one of the first PT709B's to be sold commercially, purchased in July 2009.
