However, when attacked, they tend to fight back by swinging their tail. When Doedicurus is tamed, it acts like a workhouse, which can harvest stone efficiently. Nevertheless, an untamed Doedicurus can take a lot of damage with his passive ability to form a defensive ball in a battle.Do make sure the area around you is clear though, don't wanna run into a carno or bear while doing this. I won't recommend trapping it because you kinda only get torpor while hitting its head or tail area, and it will be tougher to hit those areas in a trap. it's shell only takes 10% damage (and gives 10% of normal torpor, not good at all)Note: The Doedicurus can gather Obsidian from a small number of rocks, such as the ones on the volcano on The Island.
