You can run 357 SIG ammo using 40 S&W mags but not 40 S&W in 357 SIG mags; the reason being that there is a longer, deeper rib stamped in the 357 mags (presumably to control the necked down cartridge) which makes them too narrow for the 40 rounds.The thing is, I think the P239 is the one Sig pistol where the SAS treatment isn't nearly as dramatic nor important as other pistols.
