Replaced fuel filters, air filter and fuel pressure regulator. The regulator was replaced because fuel pressure was bouncing from 20-210. This didn’t fix the issue. Drove Pete '13 with Paccar, then got a '15 Pete also with the Paccar. The 2 engines were night & day. The earliest version (in the '13) did not have a fuel rail system that works, so had all of the problems pulling hills as mentioned plus my check engine light would come on 10+ times a day. My '15 solved all the problems and was a great engine. 510/1850 is the max factory setting for a Paccar MX-13. You might get a little more between 50,000-100,000 if you keep it pulling all the time (no cruise), but they are fairly gutless motors compared to 15-litre alternatives.
