This Information was provided by BruteSmitty. When the actuator fails, the controller enters failure mode and the indicator light illuminates 2WD,4WD alternately. 1. If it alternates really fast at .5 seconds on 2wd and .5 seconds on 4wd then the problem is Selectable 2wd/4wd actuator. 2.The ECU was not getting a steady 12v to the White wire on terminal 8. With the ignition switch OFF it was 9-12v. With the ignition switch ON it dropped to 2v. Pull the electrical connector off of the T-Stat housing and the fan should kick on. If it doesn't, check the wiring to the fan and see if it's getting power (using same method).
