Your DSP gets the same money from Amazon if you finish in 7 hours or 10. Companies like this always fail because they try to penny pinch and end up with only shitty drivers.Lookup your laws for your city/state as they vary in length and time, but DSP’s are normally dicks about call outs, they want you to give them everything but give nothing to you. I applied for Amazon Flex (different I know) weeks ago and just a day ago got a letter saying I failed the background check (I have a clean criminal record but I have a few tickets - one stop sign from 2-3 years ago, and two speeding tickets that I got reduced to non-moving violations- also about a year old).-40% DSP: the company you work for is not amazon so you do not get the benefits of being an Amazon employee -Some DSPs offer incentives for great performance others do not if the DSP does not invest time into during the hiring process thats an immediate red flag -Your DSP gets paid per package but also gets bonuses based on your driving. It's not necessary bad to get rescued if you're new, but if you've been with the DSP for over a month, you should've already built your speed and it's best to learn to do it all by yourself in a safe, timely manner. Don't expect to have a job after January, all dsp's routes get cut massively after peak.Cause it's Amazon that directs the DSP to fire people. But don't conceal carry because that's a one way ticket to probably jail for carrying it in a prohibited capacity. Just like how you can't take them into hospitals and schools and all that. You're not above the law. It's technically 2 days, 8 hours per day but you can easily finish in 5-6 hours maybe less even. 8 hours of REPS and CHECKS. All I remember was not getting enough sleep and using what will power I had to not fall asleep during the hours of videos. 2-3 days 2 8hourish days and had like .5-1 hour for 1 day orientation.Just look for a different DSP.
