Deluge not downloading

I have been having similar issues cycling both uploading/downloading torrents but thought it was because I had explicitly disabled automatic management for a certain number of torrents. I am new to Deluge and would like to find out how to seed as much as possible, particularly underdog torrents without many seeders. Top. Thiago_Rangel7 New User.

I'm using autodl-irssi to download files from my watched folder to deluge but what i've noticed is the torrent gets added but the downloading doesnt start immediately. i sometimes have to right click and do 'update trackers' for it to start downloading. some of them start after a couple minutes though.By setting "active downloading" less than the "total active" you can make sure that you are seeding completed torrents at all times. Deluge always prioritizes downloads over uploads, so seeding can be set the same as total but all of your downloading slots will still get used. Note: All downloading torrents are automatically also seeding.But it seems to be just one symptom. After launching deluge, it first alerts a "no incoming connections"-message until after some seconds, this disappears. In addition, my files are all paused (even the completed ones I want to seed). When To answer my own question. To solve this problem, all you have to do is up the "Total Active" field. In this example you can download 25 torrents at the same time while 80 torrents are active.
