I just fired up a rebuilt 350 chevy today with flat tops, mild cam (420 In. 442 exh. lift and 262 In. 272 Exh. adv. duration) 76cc heads, aprox. 8.5-9.0 compression, 600 vac sec. Holley, Mallory Unilite dist, stock exhaust manifolds. Seems to run good at 25 degrees of initial timing..

A 10 inch 3000 rpm lock up converter would work well.
