The bolt action's in the Marlin 60 are very sensitive with what lube, oil, and grease you use I have learned. Again; No matter how many rounds I put through my 60 at the range; I take apart the gun. I do NOT remove. the bolt action and recoil spring. I spray the Hoppe's Gun Medic in the entire chamber..

I have used it for about a month and probbaly shot around 200 rounds with it. One day I took it out to plink some cans, It was sorta chilly but not overall cold.Marlin Model 9 Camp rifle 9mm, gun cleaning and maintenance.
