The sensor has a short, open circuit, is loose or there is an issue with the wiring. Not to start a debate here, but I know without a doubt that Bank 1 is the passenger side, and Bank 2 is the drivers side. Bank 1 has cylinders 1,3,5. Bank 2 has cylinders 2,4,6.
