OP, try doing sitz baths, it doesnt have to be the hottest water you can stand. warm compress with a wet washcloth will help too. if you can find Betadine, add that to the sitz bath. do not try to accomplish everything in one soak. you should be doing multiple a day for a few days or more, do not rush this, do not press roughly..
