Hello, I am very new to instacart and am trying to get my first order. I have a Wegmans about 5 miles from my house, so I sometimes get bad batches at my house that make you drive like 20 miles because I'm in a later group from being far away. However, when I arrive at Wegmans and am in the zone to get the most orders, I only get ones every 15min to none, which are normally trash anyway. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are a bust and I make anywhere from $0-40. Thursday-Saturday are pretty consistent around $60-100, sometimes more on a good day. Sundays and Mondays are ALWAYS the best days and end up closer to $80-110.Instacart in my area pay is shit and good batches hard to find to many shoppers too. I like ic because more store options and I mostly do alcohol orders at a store called binnys very easy and customers are less picky and don't expect to much honestly with communication and everything else.The direct Instacart-to-customer side of the business is definitely a low priority and was probably only developed as proof-of-concept for the grocers.
